NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 7th May, 2024
F No. 9(29)/L&B/LA/2020/1147.—In the exercise of powers conferred by sub rule (1) of rule 4 of the Right to
Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Social Impact, Assessment
and Consent) Rules, 2014, read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affair's Notification No. S.O. 2740(E)
dated 21st October 2014, read with S.O. 2004 (E) dated 21st July 2015, the Lieutenant Governor of National Capital
Territory of Delhi, is pleased to assign the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Indraprastha Estate, Ring
Road New Delhi 110002 which was identified as Social Impact Assessment Unit vide Notification No.
F8/2/9/2015/L&B/LA/2373 dated 13th June 2017 to carry out Social Impact Assessment Study and to prepare Social
Impact Assessment report for acquisition of land for Dwarka project Phase I, for which the Delhi Development Authority
intends to acquire the requisite parcel of land in Village Palam of South West revenue district.
The Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Indraprastha Estate, Ring Road New Delhi 110002 shall
carry out the Social Impact Assessment study as per the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency
in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 within a period of six months from the date of
publication of this notification in the official gazette.
