Detailed Summary

The Department of Law, Justice and Legislatives, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, issued a notification dated 4th September, 2025 (Ref. No. 03/DSLSA/ADR W/PLA/2025/10539), extending the jurisdiction of three existing Permanent Lok Adalats. This action is in pursuance of an approval dated 22.02.2025 from the Hon'ble Chief Justice, High Court of Delhi & Patron-in-Chief, Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA), and vide notification bearing no. F.1/02/2025-Judl./Suptlaw/1406-1408, dated 06.08.2025. With effect from the date of this notification, Permanent Lok Adalat-I (located at Sub Station Building 2/13, Sec. 13, Rohini, Delhi-110085), Permanent Lok Adalat-II (located at Mata Sundri Lane, Opposite Aiwan-e-Ghalib, ITO, New Delhi-110002), and Permanent Lok Adalat-III (located at PVR Road, G-Block, Near PVR, Vikas Puri, New Delhi-110018) shall now also have jurisdiction to deal with Banking service, Service of non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), and Supply of Gas service, augmenting their existing jurisdiction over electricity matters.
