The HOME (DOP) DEPARTMENT of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi issued Notification No. F. 11/45/H-DOP/2025/666-79 on 1st September, 2025. In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the Competent Authority has appointed Sh. Pradeep Rana, Advocate, as Special Public Prosecutor. He is designated to represent Delhi Police in the Hon'ble Court of Delhi for case FIR No. 425/2025, registered U/s 109(1)/221/132 BNS at the Civil Line Police Station, District North, Delhi. This appointment includes a specified fee structure proposed by Delhi Police vide their letter dated 25.08.2025: an Appearance fee including one conference of Rs. 75,000/-, an Additional Conference fee (if any) of Rs. 55,000/-, a Settlement/status report etc. fee of Rs. 35,000/-, and an Appearance of Junior/associate (if any) fee of Rs. 22,000/-. The notification was issued with the approval of the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor, GNCT of Delhi, and signed by Yash Pal, Deputy Secretary (Home-DOP).
