Detailed Summary

The Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi, on the recommendation of the High Court of Delhi and in continuation of Notification No. F. 6/1/2015-Judl./Suptlaw/335-343 dated 13.03.2025, has appointed officers of Delhi Higher Judicial Service as Principal District Judges under the provisions of Section 20 of the Punjab Courts Act, 1918, as in force in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Mr. Kanwal Jeet Arora is appointed as Principal District Judge on a regular basis with effect from the date he takes over. Ms. Nisha Saxena is appointed as Principal District Judge on a regular basis against the post becoming available on 01.07.2025, with effect from the date she takes over. The notification is issued by Order and in the Name of the Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi, signed by REETESH SINGH, Principal Secy., and is dated 2nd May, 2025, bearing F.No. 6/1/2015-Judl./Suptlaw/651-659.
