No. 11/08/2024/HP-II/Part file-I/1674 to 1689.—In exercise of the power conferred by Section 37 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Act 46 of 2023) read with S.O. 2506(E) dated 28th June, 2024, issued by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby specifies the following for the purpose of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023: 1. The police control room located at the District Headquarters of every Police District are declared to be the police control room established under the provisions of Sub-section (a) of Section 37 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023. 2. The police control room of the Delhi Police Headquarters is also declared to be the police control room for Government of NCT of Delhi established under the provisions of Sub-section (a) of Section 37 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023. 3. The Officer In-charge of the Police Control Room located at the District Headquarters is designated as the officer responsible for maintenance and display of information under Sub-section (b) of Section 37 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023. 4. The Officer Incharge of the Police Control Room located at every Police Station is designated as the officer responsible for maintenance and display of information under Sub-section (b) of Section 37 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023 This notification shall come into force with immediate effect.
