L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4382] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY , OCTOBER 17, 2023/ ASVINA 25, 1945 CG-WB-E-17102023-249492 ‍ वेत 5050 5500 MINISTRY OF TEXTILES (Office of the Jute Commissioner ) NOTIFICATION Kolkata , the 5th October , 2023 S.O. 4553 (E).— In strict compliance with the solemn judgement of Hon’ble High Court of Calcutta passed in WPA 1126 of 2022 vide judgement dated 11 -05-2022 and in accordance with the power conferred on me vide Clause 3 (1) of the Jute and Jute Textiles Control Order, 2016 and supersession of the Notification No Jute(Mktg)/139/2021 dated 05 -10-2023 and in exercise of the same, I, Moloy Chandan Chakrabortty, Jute Commissioner, hereby fix the minimum price of jute in all forms to be in force until 31st October, 2023 or furthe r orders whichever is earlier as mentioned below. I further direct that no buyer and no seller will be entitled to buy or sell other than these rates specified till 31st October, 2023. Any deviation from this will be brought to the notice of the Office of the Jute Commissioner by the respective parties for action as per statute under the above mentioned Control Order. Minimum Price for Raw Jute for 2023 -24 (In : INR per quintal) EX-MOKAM EX-KOLKATA TD-3 TD-3 W-3 W-3 Tossa 5050 5500 White 5050 5500 TD-3 and W -3 is equivalent to erstwhile TD -5 and W -5. Raw jute offered in loose volume will be priced at Rs. 200/ - less than baled jute. The grade differentials of other grades will be same as Minimum Support Price declared by the Jute Commissioner vide Order dated 05-06-2023. Differences of Prices for other locations (Northern, Semi -Northern, Bihar & other States) will be same as market differentials price being ruled as on 04 -10-2023. The amount of interest/penalty etc payable if any by the purchas ers on delayed payments or for any other reasons are matters solely between purchaser & supplier & will be outside /additional to the above minimum prices.
