L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-UP-E-25082026-275750 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4520] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, AUGUST 25, 2026/BHADRA 3, 1948 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Central Railway (Construction Organization)] NOTIFICATION Prayagraj, the 21st August, 2026 S.O. 4705(E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the ministry of Railways (North Central Railway, Construction Department), Notification Number S.O. 3358 (E), dated the 17 June 2026 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), Gazette Number 3225, dated the 23 June 2026 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issued under sub-section (I) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11th of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the Land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project namely “Construction of Jhansi- Khairar-Manikpur & Khairar-Bhimsen Rail Line Doubling Project” in Tehsil Privthipur, district Niwari in the State of Madhya Pradesh; And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely, “Dainik Jagran & Amar Ujala" dated 30 June 2026 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act shall be final. And whereas, no objection was received and the same has been considered by the competent authority accordingly order has been passed; And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (I) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY Now therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed here to shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed here to shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
