This Corrigendum Notification, S.O. 1810(E), issued by the Ministry of Railways (North Central Railway (Construction Department)) on March 20, 2026, amends and substitutes details in a previous Notification No. 3564 (A) Prayagraj Gazette ID CG-UP-E-06082025-265220 dated August 4, 2025. The original notification, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II-Section-3-Subsection-II, declared the Central Government's intention to acquire land for the "Agra Fort-Bandikui Doubling Project" in District Bharatpur, Rajasthan, for public purpose, exercising powers under sub-section (1) of Section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) and Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008). The substance of this intention was published in "Dainik Bhaskar" and "Rajasthan Patrika" on April 27, 2025. Following no objections and a report from the Competent Authority, the Central Government, under sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, declared the specified lands would be acquired and, under sub-section (2) of section 20E, would vest absolutely in the Central Government upon publication. CORRIGENDUM NOTIFICATION
Prayagraj, the 20th March, 2026
S.O. 1810(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) & Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the

Central Government after being satisfied that for the public purpose the land the brief description of which has been given in schedule annexed hereto, is required for purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of the Special Railway Project namely, "Agra Fort-Bandikui Doubling Project" in District Bharatpur in the state of Rajasthan hereby declares its intention to acquire such land.
Any whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely “Dainik Bhaskar" and Rajasthan Patrika" dated 27.04.2025 under sub section (4) of Section 20A of the said ACT.
Any whereas, in village not objections were received and competent Authority have passed the orders accordingly.
Any whereas, in pursuance of sub section 20 E of the said Act, the competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government.
Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose.
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
The following details shall be amended and substituted in (Hindi & English) in the 20 E Notification No. 3564 (A) Prayagraj Gazette ID CG-UP-E-06082025-265220 dated 04.08.2025 Published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II-Section-3-Subsection-II.
