NOTIFICATION
Secunderabad, the 23rd July, 2026
S.O. 4162(E).— Whereas by the notification by Government of India in the Ministry of Railways
(Railway Board) Number S O No 160 (E) Dated: 10.01.2026 published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary
PART-II Section -3 Sub- section (ii) dt: 10.01.2026 (herein Preliminary Notification) issued U/s sub section
(1) of Section 20(A) of Railways Act 1989(24 of 1989) the Central Government declares its intention to
acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of Construction of
Road Over Brigde in Lieu of Level Crossing (LC) No.246A at Km.599/1-4 between Medchal-
Gundlapochampally stations" in Kandlakoya Village of Medchal Mandal of Medchal- Malkajgiri District
in the state of Telangana.
And whereas an extract of this notification was published in ABN Andhra Jyothi, Namaste Telangana
Daily and The Times of India newspapers on 14.01.2026 with the approval of Chief Engineer, Construction,
Road Safety Projects, South Central Railway under sub section (1) section 20A of the Act.
And whereas Competent Authority for Land Acquisition Keesara Division received objections from
Land Owners/Interested Persons U/s 20D and after conducting personal hearing and making further enquiry
disallowed the objections under Sub section (2) of Section 20D of Railways Act 1989.
Now therefore, in the light of the above, the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub section (1) of the section 20(E) of the said act, the Central Government may declare that the
land mentioned in the schedule annexed hereunder for the purpose mentioned above.
Further in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of this act the central Government may declare on
publication of Notification in the official Gazette that the land specified in the schedule annexed here to shall
vest absolutely in the Central Government is free from all encumbrances.
