NOTIFICATION
Secunderabad, the 29th July, 2025
S.O. 3521(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20A of the Railways Act,
1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the
public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the schedule annexed hereto, is required for the
purpose of execution of the Special Railway Project namely, “Proposed siding connectivity to Kodla Cement
Plant, served by Sulehalli station on Secunderabad-Wadi railway track section under "Gati Shakti Multi-
Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) policy” of Ministry of Railways, in Kalaburagi district in the state of
Karnataka, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land;
Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of Thirty days from the date of publication of this
notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose
under sub-section (1) of section 20D of the said Act.
Every objection shall be made to the competent Authority, namely, Assistant Commissioner officer (land
acquisition) Sedam, Kalaburagi district in writing, and shall set out grounds thereof and the Competent Authority
namely Assistant Commissioner (land Acquisition) Sedam, Kalaburagi district shall give the objector an opportunity
of being heard, either in person or through a legal practitioner, and may, after hearing all such objections and after
making such further enquiry, if any, as the Competent Authority for Land Acquisition (CALA) thinks necessary, by
order, either allow or disallow the objections;
Any order made by the Competent Authority for Land Acquisition under sub-section (2) of section 20D of the
said Act shall be final; The land plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and
can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the Competent Authority (CALA).
(a) To inspect, survey, measure, evaluate or investigate;
(b) Taking level;
(c) Digging or making holes in the said land;
(d) To outline the boundaries and intended lines of work;
(e) Marking such levels, boundaries an lines by placing marks and filling ditches, or;
(f) To do such others acts and things as may be considered by the competent authority, lawful will be.
SCHEDULE
Brief description of the land to be acquired with or without structure for Special railway project namely.
"Proposed siding connectivity to Kodla Cement Plant of M/s. Shree Cement Ltd, with extension from dead end
of their existing Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) served by Sulehalli station on SC-Wadi
section" of Ministry of Railways, in the district of Kalaburagi, of State of Karnataka.
