                Detailed Summary
            

            
This notification, S.O. 2072(E) dated April 21, 2026, issued by the Ministry of Railways (South Central Railway), declares the acquisition of lands for the construction of a Road Over Bridge in lieu of Level Crossing No. 324 at Km. 452/31-33 in Pedaavutapalli Village, Unguturu Mandal, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, for the convenience of passenger and freight transport. This declaration is made by the Central Government in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 20(E) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), following a report from the Competent Authority. The process commenced with a previous notification, S.O. No. 5929(E) dated December 19, 2025, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II Section 3 Sub-section (ii), which declared the Central Government's intention to acquire the land under sub-section (1) of Section 20(A) of the same Act. An extract of this intention notification was published in the daily newspapers The Times of India, Andhra Jyothi, and Sakshi Daily News on January 2, 2026, with the approval of Manoj Kumar, Chief Engineer, Construction, Road Safety Projects, South Central Railway. Objections were received by the Competent Authority (LA) & Revenue Divisional Officer, Gudivada, for Pedaavutapalli Village, and orders were passed under Section 20D(2). S.O. 2072(E).—Whereas, by the notification by Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number S.O.No.5929(E). Dated.19.12.2025 Published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II Section 3 Sub section (ii), dated. 19.12.2025 (herein after referred to as said notification) and issued under sub section (1) of section 20(A) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the Construction of Road Over Bridge in Lieu of Level Crossing No.324 at Km.452/31-33 in Pedaavutapalli Village of Unguturu Mandal in Krishna District, in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

And whereas an extract of this notification was published in the daily newspapers the The Times of India, Andhra Jyothi and Sakshi Daily News paper on 02nd January, 2026 with the approval of Manoj Kumar, Chief Engineer, Construction, Road Safety Projects, South Central Railway, Secunderabad, under sub-section (1);Section 20A of this Act.
And Whereas, Competent Authority (LA) & Revenue Divisional Officer, Gudivada have objections received for Pedaavutapalli Village of Unguturu Mandal of Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh State and passed orders U/s.20D(2).
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of 20(E) of this Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government.
Now therefore, on receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20(E) of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands mentioned in the Schedule have been annexed to be obtained here for the purpose mentioned above;
Further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of this Act, the Central Government, hereby declares on publication of notification in the Official Gazette, that the land specified in the schedule annexed here to shall vest absolutely in the Central Government is free from all encumbrances.
