S.O. 2406(E), issued by the Ministry of Railways (South Central Railway) on 20 June 2024 at Secunderabad, declares under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) the Central Government's intention to acquire land for the special railway project "Guntur Bibinagar Doubling" (doubling of track between Guntur and Bibinagar, 239 KMs) in Nalgonda district, Telangana. Persons interested may raise objections within thirty days of publication under sub-section (1) of section 20D to the competent authority, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Miryalguda, Nalgonda district, who must hear objectors before allowing or disallowing objections; such orders are final under sub-section (II) of section 20(D). Land plans are available for inspection at the competent authority's office. The annexed Schedule lists affected survey numbers, land type (mostly agriculture/patta, assigned/Lavuni Patta, poramboku, government and tank/nala land) and area across multiple villages including Chervupally, Gajalapur, Ilapuram, Venkatadripalem, Chinthapally, Dilawarpur, Kondrapole, Damaracherla and Wadapally within Madugulapally, Miryalguda and Damaracherla taluks.

NOTIFICATION
Secunderabad, the 20th June, 2024

S.O. 2406(E).—in exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (I) of section 20A of the Railways Act,
1989 (24 of 1989) (hereafter referred as in as the said Act), central government after being satisfied that for the public
purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the schedule annexed hereto, is required for execution of
the special railway project, Guntur Bibinagar Doubling in Nalgonda district in the state of Telangana, hereby
declares its intention to acquire such land:

Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this
notification in the official gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose
under sub- section (1) of section 20D of the said act:

Every such objection shall be made to the competent authority, namely Revenue Divisional Officer,
Miryalguda, Nalgonda district in writing and shall be set out the grounds there of and the competent authority
Revenue Divisional Officer, Miryalguda, Nalgonda district shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard,
either in person or by legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further
enquiry, if any as the competent authority thinks necessary, by, order, either allow or disallow the objections.

Any order made by the competent authority under sub section (II) of section 20(D) of the said act shall be
final.

The land plans and other details of the land under this notification are available and can be inspected by the
interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent authority.
