The Ministry of Railways (South Central Railway) issued Notification S.O. 1740(E) on March 30, 2026, published in the Gazette of India on April 6, 2026, declaring the Central Government's intention to acquire land for a Special Railway Project. Exercising powers under sub-section (1) of section 20-A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), as amended in 2008, the Central Government deemed the project, a 4.90 K.Ms. Bypass Line at Vishnupuram connecting Motumari to Vishnupuram Line in Nalgonda district, Telangana, to be for public purpose. The notification invites objections from interested persons within 30 days of its publication to the Competent Authority, identified as the Sub-Collector, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda district. Objections must be in writing, stating grounds, and the Competent Authority will provide a hearing opportunity, with its final order under sub-section (II) of section 20(D) of the said Act. NOTIFICATION
Secunderabad, the 30th March, 2026

S.O. 1740(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20-A of the Railway Act,
1989 (24 of 1989) as amended in 2008 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), Central Government after being satisfied
that the said project is for the public purpose, declared as Special Railway Project. The land in the brief description of
which is given in the schedule annexed hereto, is required for execution of the Special Railway Project i.e. By pass Line
at Vishnupuram (4.90 K.Ms.) in Motumari to Vishnupuram Line in Nalgonda district in the state of Telangana, and
hence hereby declare its intention to acquire such land.

Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of (30 days) thirty days from the date of publication
of this notification in the official gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid project
purpose.

Under sub- section (1) of section 20-D of the said act, every such objection shall be made to the Competent
Authority, namely Sub-Collector, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda district in writing and shall be set out the grounds there of
and the Competent Authority and Sub-Collector, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda district shall give the objector an opportunity
of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objections and after making
such further enquiry, if any as the Competent Authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the
objections. Any order made by the Competent Authority under sub section (II) of section 20(D) of the said act shall be
final.

The land plans and other details of the land under this notification are available and can be inspected by
theinterested persons at the aforesaid office of the Competent Authority.
