NOTIFICATION
Secunderabad, the 30th December, 2024
S.O. 5652(E). -Whereas, by the notification by Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways
(Railway Board), number SO No.2624(E). Dated. 27.6.2024 Published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part-II Section 3 Sub section (ii), dated. 04.07.2024 (herein after referred to as said
notification) and issued under sub section (1) of section 20(A) of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the
Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said
notification for the purpose of the Special Railway Project, “Doubling of Railway line between Dornakal
and Bhadrachalam stations" in the district of Mahabubabad in the state of Telangana.
And whereas an extract of this notification was published in the daily newspapers
"Namaste Telangana”, “Andhra Jyothi" and "Indian Express" on 12th July, 2024 with the approval of
Sudhir Kumar Sharma, Chief Engineer, Construction-IV, South Central Railway, Secunderabad, under sub
-section (4); Section 20A of this Act.
And Whereas, Sub Divisional Magistrate (Revenue) and Competent Authority,
Mahabubabad, have not received any objections for Dornakal Village & Mandal and Pullur Village of
Garla Mandal of Mahabubabad District of Telangana State.
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of 20(E) of this Act, the Competent
Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government.
Now therefore, on receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the
powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20(E) of the said Act, the Central Government hereby
declares that the lands mentioned in the Schedule have been annexed. To be obtained here for the purpose
mentioned above;
Further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of this Act, the Central
Government, hereby declares on publication of notification in the Official Gazette, that the land specified in
the schedule annexed here to shall vest absolutely in the Central government is from all encumbrances.
SCHEDULE
Description of lands in Acquisition: Railway doubling track between Dornakal Junction and Bhadrachalam
Road Stations within the limits of Mahabubabad Division of Mahabubabad District jurisdiction for
passenger and freight facility. Brief description of land to be acquired with or without structures in a
particular railway project.
