MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Western Ra ilway (Construction Organization)] NOTIFICATION Jaipur, the 29th August, 2023 S.O. 3836(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (1) of section 20A of the Railway Act 1989, (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Ce ntral Government, after being satisfied for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for execution. maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project of "Taranga Hill - Abu Road via Ambaji New BG Line (116.654 Km)" in the district of Sabarkantha in the state of Gujarat, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of Thirty days from the date of publication of t his notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub -section (1) of section 20D of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made to competent authority, namely, the Sub divisional officer Khedbrahma in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof, and the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person o r by legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objection and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either all ow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the competent authority und er sub -section (2) of section 20D o f the said Act shall be final.
