In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7A) of section 2 of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officers mentioned in column (2) of the table below as 'Competent Authority' to perform the function as such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official Gazette in respect of the Special Railway Project "Construction of Jaipur - Sawai Madhopur Doubling Rail line project in Jaipur Division in the state of Rajasthan relating to the sub-divisions mentioned in column (3), District mentioned in column (4) of the said table between Jaipur - Sawai Madhopur, stations for the public purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of such Special Railway Project.
