EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4520] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY , OCTOBER 27, 2023/ KARTIKA 5, 1945 CG-RJ-E-27102023-249744 NA 0.2900 0.0370 1.4900 0.3285 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Western Rail way (Construction Organization) ] NOTIFICATION Jaipur, the 27th October , 2023 S.O. 4708 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by subsect ion (1) of section 20A of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008, (11 of 2008 ) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule belo w, is required for execution. maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project of " Level Crossing No.259 for Construction of Road under bridge (RUB) on Sikar -Loharu Section Project" in the district of Jhunjhunu in the state of Rajasthan , hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said la nd may, within a period of Thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such l and for the aforesaid purpose under sub -section (1) of section 20D of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made to competent authority, namely, the S ub divisional officer , Mandawa in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof, and the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objection and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks necessary, by o rder, eithe r allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the competent authority unde r sub -section (2) of section 20D of the said Act shall be final.
