EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3831 ] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY , SEPTEMBER 24, 2024 /ASVINA 2, 194 6 CG-RJ-E-24092024-257467 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Western Railway (Construction Organisation)] NOTIFICATION Jaipur, the 21st September, 2024 S.O. 4189 (E).—Whereas, b y the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (North Western Railway Construction organisation )Notification number S.O. 2503 (A) dated 28thJune, 2024 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section -3, Sub Section (ii) dated 28thJune, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification),and issued under sub section (1) of section 20A of the Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution,Maintence,management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely Churu -Ratangarh Doubling project in District Churu in the state of Rajasthan. And, whereas, the substance of the said notification were published in daily local newspapers “Rajasthan Patrika” and “Dainik Bhaska r” dated 05thJuly, 2023 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said act; And, whereas, the competent authority has disallowed the objections after hearing under sub section (2) of the section 20D of the act. And, whereas, in pursuance of sub section ( 1) of section 20E of the said act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further in pursuance of sub section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Gove rnment hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
