L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3124] NEW DE LHI, FRIDAY, JULY 21, 2023/ ASHADHA 30, 1945 CG-RJ-E-21072023-247501 MINISTRY OF R AILWAYS [North Western Railway (Const ruction Organization) ] NOTIFICAT ION Jaipur , the 20th July, 2023 S.O. 3257(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number S.O. 1784(E) dated 19th April, 2023 published in Gazette of India, Ex traordinary, Part II, Section -3, Sub section (ii) (herein after referred to a s the said notification) under sub -section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 2008 (11th of 2008 ) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act). The Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namel y, Mavli junction – Bari Sadri Gauge conversion project in the State of Rajasthan. And, whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in the daily local newspapers “Rajasthan Patrika” and “Dainik Bhasker” dated 22nd April , 2023 under sub -section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And, whereas, no objection has been received by the competent authority; And, whereas, in pursuance of s ub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Ce ntral Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section ( 1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declare that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government herby declares that on publication of the notification in the official Gazette, the l and specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
