L.-33004/99 CG-RJ-E-20112024-258766 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4596] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2024/KARTIKA 28, 1946 7462 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Western Railway (Construction Organization)] NOTIFICATION Jaipur, 19th November, 2024 S.O. 4984(E)- Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (North Western Railway, Construction organization), Notification number S.O. 3998 (E) dated 18th September, 2024 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section-3, Sub section (ii) (herein after referred to as the said notification) under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act). The Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely, Nathdwara- Devgarh Madariya Gauge Conversion Project, in District Rajsamand in the State of Rajasthan. And, whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in the daily local newspapers "Rajasthan Patrika” and “Dainik Bhasker" dated 28th September, 2024 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, no objections has been received by the competent authority. And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declare that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, The Central Government herby declares that on publication of the notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
