L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4401] NEW DELHI, WEDNES DAY , OCTOBER 18, 2023/ ASVINA 26, 1945 CG-RJ-E-19102023-249557 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Western Rail way (Construction Organization) ] NOTIFICATION Jaipur , the 18th October , 2023 S.O. 4575(E).—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (North Western Railway, Construction organisation ), Notification number, S.O. 3836 (E) dated 29 August -2023 (hereinafter referred to as the said notifica tion) and issued u nder sub -section (1) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the s aid n otification f or the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely special railway project of "Taranga Hill - Abu Road via Ambaji New BG Line (116.654 Km)" in District Sabarkantha in the state of Gujarat. And whereas, th e substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely “Gujrat Samachar ”, “Divya Bhaskar”, “Sandesh” and “The Times of India” Dated 05 September , 202 3 under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, No objections were received by competent Authority; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now therefore, upon receipt of the r eport of the Competent Authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the s chedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest abso lutely in the Central government free from all encumbrances.
