Notification S.O. 2200(E), dated 15th May, 2025, is issued by the Ministry of Railways [North Western Railway (Construction Organization)] under the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railway Act 2008 (11 of 2008). The Central Government, being satisfied for the public purpose, declares its intention to acquire land, as described in the Schedule, for the execution, maintenance, management, and operation of the "Pushkar-Merta (Katyasani) New BG line Project (Special Rail Project)" in the Pushkar sub-division of Ajmer district in the state of Rajasthan. Any interested person may raise objections within thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, under sub-section (1) of section 20D of the said Act, to the competent authority, the Sub divisional officer, Pushkar, Ajmer district, Rajasthan. Objections must be in writing, stating the grounds, and the competent authority shall provide an opportunity for hearing. The order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of section 20D of the said Act shall be final. Land plans and details are available for inspection at the competent authority's office. The Schedule lists specific parcels of Government and Private land in Ganaheda and Rampura Nand villages, Pushkar Tehsil, Ajmer District, detailing survey numbers and acquired areas. The total acquired area listed in Ganaheda village is 124302.28 Sq. Mtr. (12.4302 Hact.) and in Rampura Nand village is 2338.862 Sq. Mtr. (0.234 Hact.). In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (1) of section 20A of the Railway Act 2008, (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for execution. maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project of "Pushkar-Merta (Katyasani) New BG line Project (Special Rail Project)" (for sub division Pushkar of Ajmer district) in the state of Rajasthan, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section (1) of section 20D of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made to competent authority, namely, the Sub divisional officer Pushkar, Ajmer district in the state of rajasthan in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof, and the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objection and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of section 20D of the said Act shall befinal. The land plans and other details of land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent authority.
