8160 GI/202 4 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 5048 ] NEW DELHI, TUES DAY , DECEMBER 17, 2024 /AGRAHAYANA 26, 194 6 CG-RJ-E-18122024-259491 MINISTRY OF RAILWAY S [North Western Railway (Construction Organization)] NOTIFICATION Jaipur , the 17th Decem ber, 2024 S.O. 5455 (E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (North Western Railway, Construction organization), Notification number S.O. 4547 (E) dated 16th October, 2024 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section -3, Sub section (ii) (herein after referred to as the said notification) under sub -section (1) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act). The Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely, “Bari Sadri – Nimach new Broad gauge line project” in District Chittorgarh in the State of Rajasthan. And, whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in the daily local newspapers and “Dainik Bhasker” dated 19th October, 2024 and in “Rajasthan Patrika” 21st October -2024 under sub -section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, no objections has been received by the competent authority. And, whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declare that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, The Central Government herby declares that on publication of the notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
