NOTIFICATION
Jaipur, the 13th February, 2026
S.O. 784(E).- Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways
(North Western Railway, Construction organisation), Notification number S.O. 5458(E) dated 27 November, 2025
published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section-3, Sub section (ii) (hereinafter referred to as the said
notification), under sub section (i) of section 20A of the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter
referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule
annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special
Railway Project, namely “Ramdevra - Pokran New Railway line via Bhairav Gufa - kailash Tekri (13.380km)”
in the District Jaisalmer of the State of Rajasthan.".
And, whereas, the substance of the said notification were published in daily local newspapers "Rajasthan Patrika" and
"Danik Navjyoti" dated 04 December, 2025 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said act;
And whereas, objections received within the stipulated time period were resolved by Competent Authority
accordingly.
And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its
report to the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declare that the lands specified in the
schedule annexed here to shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, The Central Government herby declares
that on publication of the notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall
vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
SCHEDULE
Brief description of the land to be acquired, with or without structure, for the Special Railway Project, namely,
Ramdevra – Pokran New Railway line via Bhairav Gufa-kailash Tekri (13.380 km) Project (For Pokran
Sub Division) in the District Jaisalmer of the State of Rajasthan.
