Issued by the Ministry of Railways (West Central Railway) via notification S.O. 4552(E) dated 16th October 2024 at Kota, in exercise of powers under clause (7A) of Section 2 of the Railways Amendment Act, 2008, the Central Government authorises the officers named in the annexed table as 'Competent Authority' for the public purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of a Railway Project comprising multiple road-over-bridge and level-crossing works in the states of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, effective from the date of publication. The 25 listed projects cover sub-divisions/districts including Alot and Gangadhar (Ratlam and Jhalawar districts), Garoth (Mandsaur district), Bhawani Mandi (Jhalawar district), Digod and Keshoraipatan (Kota and Bundi districts), Uniara (Tonk district), Sawai Madhopur and Gangapur City (Sawai Madhopur district), Hindaun City (Karauli district), Bayana (Bharatpur district), and Mathura (Mathura district), mostly involving construction of road-over-bridges in lieu of numbered level crossings along the Nagda-Kota and Kota-Mathura railway sections.
