L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-RJ-E-14012026-269341 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 175] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, JANUARY 13, 2026/PAUSHA 23, 1947 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [North Western Railway (Construction Organization)] NOTIFICATION Jaipur, the 13th January, 2026 S.O. 185(E).- Whereas by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number S.O. 4638 (E) dated 10th October 2025 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section-3, Sub section (ii) (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), under sub section (i) of section 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) and Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for execution, maintenance and operation of the Special Railway Project, namely Churu-Sadulpur (57.82km) Doubling project in District Churu in the state of Rajasthan. And, whereas, the substance of the said notification were published in daily local newspapers "Rajasthan Patrika” dated 27 October 2025 and “Danik Bhaskar" dated 15 October 2025 under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said act; And, whereas, "During the prescribed period for receipt of objections at the level of the competent authority, no objections were received; consequently, the question of disposal of objections is null and void." And, whereas, in pursuance of sub section (1) of section 20 of the said act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government. Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the land specified in the Schedule annexed here to shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
