This land is required for the public purpose of executing, maintaining, managing, and operating a Special Railway Project, which involves the construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of LC No. 94 at KM 1196/1-3 between Salaia - Bakhleta Stations in the Bina - Katni Section. Any person interested in the land may raise objections within 30 days from the notification's publication date under sub-section (1) of section 20(D) of the said Act. Objections must be made in writing to the Competent Officer, identified as the Competent Authority and Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Tehsil - Rithi, District – Katni (M.P.). The Competent Authority will provide an opportunity for a hearing and will either allow or disallow the objections, with the final order made under sub-section (2) of section 20(D) being conclusive. Land plans and other details are available for inspection at the Competent Authority's office. The Schedule provides a brief description of the land to be acquired, including specific survey numbers and areas in hectares, across villages such as Chargawan and Bakhleta in Rithi Tehsil, for the construction of the Road Over Bridge at level crossing No. 94 on the Bina-Katni railway line. L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-MP-E-22102025-267079 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4632] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2025/ASVINA 25, 1947 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [West Central Railway (Construction Organisation)] NOTIFICATION Jabalpur, the 17th October, 2025 S.O. 4761(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20(A) of the Railways Act, 1989 (as Amendment Act 2008), the Central Government, After being satisfied that the land, brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for public purpose for execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project (Construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB) in Lieu of LC No. 94 at KM 1196/1-3 between Salaia - Bakhleta Stations in Bina - Katni Section) in the District of Katni the State of Madhya Pradesh, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of 30 days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section (1) of section 20 (D) of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made to the Competent Officer i.e. Competent Authority and Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Tehsil - Rithi, District – Katni (M.P.) in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the Competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further inquiry, if any, as the Competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections. Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of section 20 (D) of the said Act shall be final. The land plan and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected by the interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent authority.
