L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-MH-E-30072024-255922 EXTRAORDINARY PART III—Section 4 PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 570] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, JULY 30, 2024/SHRAVANA 8, 1946 SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 29th July, 2024 SECURITIES CONTRACTS (REGULATION) (STOCK EXCHANGES AND CLEARING CORPORATIONS) (THIRD AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2024 No. SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2024/196.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4, 8A and 31 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956, read with sections 11 and 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, the Board hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Stock Exchanges and Clearing Corporations) Regulations, 2018, namely, - 1. These regulations may be called the Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Stock Exchanges and Clearing Corporations) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2024. 2. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 3. In the Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Stock Exchanges and Clearing Corporations) Regulations, 2018, I. In regulation 21, sub-regulation (1) shall be substituted with the following sub-regulation, namely,- "(1) Without prejudice to the provisions of the Act, rules and these regulations, the recognised stock exchange(s) and the recognised clearing corporation(s) shall disclose their shareholding pattern on their respective websites on a quarterly basis as per the requirements and format specified for listed companies in terms of the provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015." II. In regulation 29, in sub-regulation (2), in clause (a), the words "and Core Settlement Guarantee Fund" after the word "Member" and before the words "committee and" shall stand omitted. III. In Schedule I, in Part III of Annexure to Form A, Paragraph 27 shall stand omitted. IV. In Schedule II, (i) in Part G, in paragraph (1), (a) the words, figures and symbol "In terms of sub-regulation 10 of regulation 19, the” shall be substituted with the word "The". (b) in clause (a), the word "the" appearing before the words "these Regulations" shall stand omitted. (c) in clause (c), the words, figures and symbol "Board circular dated January 01, 2016." shall be substituted with the words and symbol "guidelines as specified by the Board from time to time."
