These regulations may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) (Sixth Amendment) Regulations, 2023. 2. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 3. In the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 , in regulation 61A, - (1) in sub -regulation (3), - (a) in the existing proviso thereto, the symbol “.”, after the words “in terms of section 11 of the Act”, shall be substituted with the symbol “:”; (b) after the existing proviso, following proviso shall be inserted , namely, – “Provided further that the amount transferred to the Investor Protection and Education fund shall not bear any in terest.” (2) after sub-regulation (3), the following sub-regulation shall be inserted , namely, – “(4) The unclaimed amount of a pers on that has been transferred to the Investor Protection and Education Fund in terms of this regulation, may be claim ed in such manner as may be specified by the Board.” BABITHA RAYUDU, Executive Director [ADVT. -III/4/Exty./50 5/2023 -24] Footnotes : 1.
