7283 GI/202 3 (1) EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4791] NEW DELHI, TUES DAY , NOVEMBER 21, 2023/ KARTIKA 30, 1945 CG-MH-E-22112023-250204 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (Western Railway) NOTIFICATION Mumbai , the 21st Novemb er, 2023 S.O. 5000 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said act 2008 ), the Centr al Government, after being satisfied for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of , which is given in the Schedule below, is required for execution, maint enance, management and operation of Special Railway Project of “Development of Gati shakt i Vishwavidhyalaya Project at Vadodara ” in Vadodara district of the state of Gujarat hereby declares its intention to acquire such land ; Any person interested in sai d land may, within a period of t hirty days from the date of publication of this notificati on in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub -section (1) of section 20D of the said act ; Every such objection shall be made to competent authority, namely, Prant Officer Dabhoi , Taluka sevasadan office D abhoi and Prant Officer Waghodi a Taluka Sevasadan, o ffice Waghodia, District Vado dara, in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof, and the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in pe rson or legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objection and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections ; Any order made by the competent authority u nder sub -section (2) of section 20D of the said Act shall be final.
