The Ministry of Railways (Central Railway), via S.O. 2069(E) dated 21st May 2024, recalls its earlier notification S.O. 4381(E) dated 19th September 2022, issued under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) read with the Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008), declaring intention to acquire land for the Pachora-Jamner with Extension upto Malkapur Narrow Gauge to Broad Gauge Special Railway Project in Jalgaon district, Maharashtra; the substance of that notification was published in the Marathi newspapers Dainik Avhan and Dainik Deshonnati dated 19-07-2023 under sub-section (4) of section 20A; no objections were received; the competent authority submitted its report under sub-section 20E; the Central Government, in exercise of powers under sub-section (1) of section 20E, declares that the scheduled land shall be acquired, and under sub-section (2) of section 20E declares that on publication the land vests absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances; the Schedule lists survey/gutt numbers, acquisition areas, and landowner names across the villages of Salshingi, Nadgaon, and Sonoti in Bodwad Taluka, Jalgaon District, Maharashtra; signed by Avanish Kumar Pandey, Chief Administrative Officer (Construction).

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-MH-E-21052024-254283 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1970] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, MAY 21, 2024/VAISAKHA 31, 1946 3154 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 21st May, 2024 S.O. 2069(E). - Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), number, S.O 4381 (E) dated 19th September 2022 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub-section (ii), dated the 19th September 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification ) and issued under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) and Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely Pachora-Jamner with Extension upto Malkapur-Narrow Gauge to Broad Gauge in the district of Jalgaon in the State of Maharashtra. And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in for SLAO(1)UTPH.Jalgaon daily Marathi newspapers namely “Dainik Avhan” & “Dainik Deshonnati” Dated 19-07-2023 under sub section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, no objections were received. And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central government free from all encumbrances.
