The Ministry of Railways, Western Railways (Construction Organisation), issued a Corrigendum and Revised Notification, S.O. 2004(E), dated 16th May 2024, to its earlier E-Gazette Notification No. 2148(E) of 8th May 2023, declaring, under sub-section (1) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), its intention to acquire land described in the annexed Schedule for execution of the Special Railway Project, the Vijapur-Ambaliyasan Gauge Conversion Project, in Gandhinagar district, Gujarat. Persons interested in the land may, within thirty days of publication in the Official Gazette, raise objections under sub-section (1) of section 20D to the competent authority, namely the Prant Officer, Kalol, District Gandhinagar, who must hear objections and issue a final order under sub-section (2) of section 20D. Land plans and details are available for inspection at the competent authority's office. The Schedule lists 15 land parcels totalling 5721.14 square metres in Mandali Vihar village, Mansa Taluka, Gandhinagar district, comprising seven private agricultural parcels (Survey Nos. 779, 788, 644, 643, 642, 630 and 633) and eight government wasteland parcels (Survey Nos. 666, 646, 656, 811, 674, 676, 845 and 93). L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-MH-E-17052024-254214 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1906] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, MAY 16, 2024/VAISAKHA 26, 1946 3045 GI/2024 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [Western Railways (Construction Organisation)] CORRIGENDUM AND REVISED NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 16th May-2024 (Corrigendum & Revised Notification, to the last E-Gazette Notification no. 2148 (E) of 8th May, 2023) S.O 2004 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(I) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred in as the said act), the Central Government after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which has given in the schedule annexed hereto, is required for execution of the special Railway Project, namely, Vijapur-Ambaliyasan Gauge Conversion Project in District Gandhinagar in the state of Gujarat, hereby declares its intention to acquired such land: Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section(I) of section 20D of the said Act: Every such objection shall be made to the competent authority, namely, Prant officer, Kalol, District Gandhinagar, in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner and may after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections.
