NOTIFICATION
Mumbai, the 15th April, 2025
S.O. 1712(E). Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways
(Central Railway) number S.O. 3418, dated the 3rd September 2024 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,
Part-ii, section-3, Sub-section (ii), dated 30th August 2024 and issued under sub section (I) of section 20A of the
Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (here in after referred as the said Act), the Central Government declared its intention
to acquire the land in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance,
management and operation od the Special Railway Project namely “Linear connection of proposed GCT with
Lonavala BVT yard under Gati Shakti Units", in Taluka Maval, District Pune" in the State of Maharshatra.
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in the dialy local newspapers, namely,
Danik Dayitva under sub section(4) of section 20A of the said Act;
And whereas, objections were received; Competent Authority has heard the objections and orders have been
passed in terms of section 20D of the said act;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Competent Autority has
submitted its reports to the Central Government.
Now therefore, ipon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers conferred
by sub section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the
Schedule aneexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose.
And further, in the pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Govtenment here
by declares that on publication of the notification in the Official Gazette, the land spectified in the Schedule annexed
hereto shall ves absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
