L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 4338] NEW DELHI, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2023/ASVINA 22 , 194 5 CG-MH-E-16102023-249453 20.8782 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [Western Railway (Construction Organization) ] CORRIGENDUM NOTIFICATION Mumbai, 14th October , 202 3 This notification supersedes the Notification S.O. 4 445(E), published on 11/10/2023 S.O. 4509(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (i) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referre d in as the said Act), the Central Government after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the bri ef description of which has given in the schedule annexed hereto, is required for execution of Special Railway Project, n amely, Ratlam – Indore - Dr. Ambedkar Nagar - Khandwa Gauge Conversion Project in the State of Madhya Pradesh, hereby declares its int ention to acquire such land: Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for a foresaid purp ose under sub-section (1) of section 20D of the said Act: Every such objection shall be made to the competent authority, namely, Sub -Divisional Off icer & Land Acquisition Officer, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar , District - Indore (M.P.), in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the competent authority shall give t he objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow th e objections. Any order made by the competent authority under sub -section (II) of section 20(D) of the said act shall be final. The Land Plans and other d etails of the land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected by the interes ted person aforesaid Office of the Competent Authority.
