No. G197/RSP/LC 40 & 42/Madha Tq/DD-SUR/20A] BHUVNESH KUMAR GUPTA, Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 10th March, 2026 Under clause 20 (A) of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008 S.O. 1256(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20A of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), as amended by the Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for a public purpose, the land, a brief description of which is given in the Schedule annexed hereto, is required for the execution of a Special Railway Project, namely; "Daund- Solapur Section – Construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB) in lieu of Level Crossing No. 40 at Railway Km 387/3-4, Level Crossing No. 42 at Railway Km 391/8–9, and Level Crossing No. 61 at Railway Km 477/3-4" in Solapur District, Maharashtra State, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land. Any person interested in the said land may, within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, object to the acquisition and use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub- section (1) of Section 20D of the said Act. Every such objection shall be made in writing to the Competent Authority, namely, Sub-Divisional Officer No. 2, Solapur, Maharashtra, stating the grounds thereof. The Competent Authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or through a legal practitioner, and after hearing such objections and making such further inquiry, if any, as deemed necessary, may by order either allow or disallow the objections. Any order passed by the Competent Authority under sub-section (2) of Section 20D of the said Act shall be final. The land plans and other relevant details relating to the land covered under this notification are available for inspection by interested persons at the office of the aforesaid Competent Authority.
