L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2916] NEW DELHI , MON DAY, JULY 10, 2023/ASHADHA 19, 194 5 CG-MH-E-11072023-247213 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [Western Railway (Construction Organization )] NOTIFICATION Mumbai , the 10th July, 2023 S.O. 3041(E).—Whereas by t he notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) (Published in the Gazette of India, under notification No. 4358( E) of dated 15.09.2022 Extra Ordinary part II Section -3 Sub -section (II) ) (here in af ter re ferred to as the said notification) under sub -section (I) of section 20A of the Railway Act 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) the Central Government declared its intention to be acquired the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for execution, maintenance, m anagement and operation of the Special Railway Project, namely, Anand -Godhra doubling Project in District Kheda in the State of Gujarat ; And, whereas, the substance of the said notification was publishe d in daily local newspaper “Gujarat Samachar”dated 16th Sept. 2022 . “The Indian Express” dated 24th December 2022 under subsection (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And, whereas, no objection has been received by the competent authority ; And, whereas, i n pursuance of sub -section (I) of section 20E of the s aid Act, the competent authority has submitted its report of the Central Government; Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And, further, in pursuance of sub -section (2) of section 20E of t he said Act, the Central government here by declares tha t on publication of this notification in the official Gazette the land specified in the schedule annexed here to shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
