The Ministry of Railways, specifically its Western Railway (Construction Organisation), issued Notification G.S.R. 564(E) on June 30, 2026, published in The Gazette of India on July 3, 2026. In exercise of powers under sub-section (I) of section 20A of the Railways Act, 2008, the Central Government declared its intention to acquire land for the public purpose of executing the 'NAGDA BYPASS via ROHALKHURD-BHATISUDA New BG Line Project' in the State of Madhya Pradesh. The notification includes a detailed schedule describing the land to be acquired, with or without structures, across UJJAIN District, specifically in villages such as Bhadla, Rupeta, Banbana, Banbani, Dabari, Padliya Kalan, Lasudiya Jaisingh, AmlawadJunnardar, and Bhatisuda, listing Khasara numbers, acquired land areas in Hectares, type of land (irrigated/unirrigated), and nature of land (private/government). Any person interested in the said land may raise objections within thirty days from the notification's publication date to the competent authority, the Sub-Divisional Officer & Land Acquisition Officer NAGDA, District- UJJAIN (M.P.), in writing, as per sub-section (1) of section 20D of the Railways Act, 2008. The competent authority will provide an opportunity for hearing, and its order under sub-section (II) of section 20(D) shall be final. NOTIFICATION
Mumbai, the 30th June, 2026
G.S.R. 564(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(I) of section 20A of the AmendmantRailways Act, 2008 (hereinafter referred in as the said Act), the Central Government after being satisfied that for the public purpose, the land, the brief description of which has given in the schedule annexed hereto, is required for execution of Special Railway Project, namely, "NAGDA BYPASS via ROHALKHURD-BHATISUDANewBGLineProject" in the State of Madhya Pradesh, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land:

Any person interested in the said land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, raise objection to the acquisition and use of such land for a foresaid purpose under sub-section (1) of section 20D of the said Act:
Every such objection shall be made to the competent authority, namely, Sub-Divisional Officer & Land Acquisition Officer NAGDA, District- UJJAIN (M.P.)in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by legal practitioner and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any as the competent authority thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections.
Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (II) of section 20(D) of the said act shall be final.
The Land Plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected by the interested person aforesaid Office of the Competent Authority.
