NOTIFICATION
Mumbai, 4 July 2025
Under clause 20E of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008
S.O. 3008(E).— Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways
(Railway Board), number.S.O.1311(A)dated 04 March 2025 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary,
PartII, section 3, Sub-section (ii) (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) and issuedunder sub-section
(1) of section 20A of the Railway (Amendment) Act, 2008 (11 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to asthe said
Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specified in the scheduleannexed tothe
said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway
Project, namely “Wardha-Ballarshah 3rd Railway Line” in the district of Wardha in the state of
Maharashtra.
And whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily newspapers namely
"Pratapgadache Ware ”And “Dainik Vidarbha Rang" Dated 26 March 2025under sub section (4)of section
20A of the said Act;
And whereas, no objections were received and the same have been considered by the competent
Authorityaccordingly orders have been passed;
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted
its report to the Central Government;
Now therefore, upon receipt of the report of the Competent Authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by subsection(1) of section 20E of the said act, the Central Governmen there by declares tha the
lands specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And Further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government
hereby declares that onpublication of this notificationin the official Gazette;the land specifiedin the schedule
annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central Government Free from allencumbrances.
SCHEDULE
Brief description of the land to be acquired, with or without structures, falling within the Special Railway
Project "Wardha-Ballarshah 3rd Railway Line” in village Burkoni, Ladki, Hinganghat & Pimpalgaon
