L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3794] NEW DELHI, WEDNES DAY , SEPTEMBER 6, 2023/ BHADRA 15, 1945 CG-MH-E-06092023-248604 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS [Western Railway (Construction Organization) ] NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 6th September 2023 S.O. 3956(E) .—Whereas, by the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Bo ard), number, S.O 3464 (E) dated the 2nd August 2023 published in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3 Sub -section (ii), dated the 2nd August 2023 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification ) and issued under sub -section (1) of section 20(A) of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government declares its intention to acquire the land specif ied in the schedule annexed to the said notification for the purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of Special Railway Project, namely Nimach -Ratlam Doubling Project in the State of Madhya Pradesh ; And whereas, the substance of the sai d notification was published in daily newspapers namely “Dainik Bhaskar (Hindi) ”, “Raj Express (Hindi)”, “Dash mesh Express (Hindi)”, “Malav Darshan (Hindi)”, & “Free Press Journal (English)” on 8th August 2023 by Additi onal Collector and Competent Authorit y, Ratlam (M.P.) under sub-section (4) of section 20A of the said Act; And whereas, no objection s have been received by C ompetent Authority ; And whereas, in pursuance of sub -section (I) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report of the Central Government; Now therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the Competent Authority , and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the lan d specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose; And further, in pursuanc e of sub -section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government here by declares that on publication of this notification in the off icial Gazette, the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall vest absolutely in the Central government free from all encumbrances.
