L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-MH-E-04042026-271559 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1660] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, APRIL 2, 2026/CHAITRA 12, 1948 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (Central Railway) NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 1st April, 2026 Under clause 7A of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008 S.O. 1725(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7A) of Section 2 of the Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), (hereinafter referred to the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008 (No.11 of 2008), the Central Government hereby authorizes the officers mentioned in column (2) of the table below as the "Competent Authority" to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, for the special railway project "3rd and 4th line between Pune-Solapur-Wadi (394.91Km)" in the Talukas and Districts mentioned in column (3) of the said table, for the public purpose of execution, maintenance, management, and operation of such Special Railway Project.
