This notification designates the 'New BG Double line from Sarkhej to Dholera (109.16 km) + Spur Line for Lothal NMHC and Dholera Airport (20.4 km) of Bhavnagar Division on Western Railway' as a Special Railway Project. The purpose of this designation is to facilitate land acquisition in the State of Gujarat for providing national infrastructure for a public purpose.
