L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-KA-E-22042026-271979 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3—Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1915] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 2026/VAISAKHA 1, 1948 2819 GI/2026 MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (South Western Railway) NOTIFICATION Hubballi, the 21st April, 2026 S.O. 1986(E).— In the exercise of the powers conferred by clause (6) of section 20F and clause 7A of section 2 of the Railway Act, 1989 (24 of 1989), the Railways (Amendment) Act, 2008 the Ministry of Railway (South Western Railway, Road Safety Projects, Hubballi) hereby authorizes the officers mentioned in column (4) of the table below as 'Competent Authority' and the officers mentioned in column (5) of the table below as 'Arbitrator' to perform the functions as such authority under the said Act with effect from date of publication of this notification in the official gazette in respect of Special Railway Projects mentioned in column (2) relating to districts mentioned in column (3) of the table below for Land Acquisition required for the public purpose.
