The Ministry of Railway, Govt. of India, hereby withdraws from acquisition, the lands specified in the Schedule below, in respect of which notification vide S.O. 2114 (E) dated 2nd May' 2023 was issued under Section 20A (1) of Railway Act, 1989 and published in Gazette of India dated 4th May 2023. The land owners of the Village Panchayat of Majorda and Uttorda were having road access to their houses from the Railway land which is being utilized for Railway doubling. They didn't agree to spare their land for provision of road access to their houses. Hence, dropped. Similarly, due to change in the alignment of the road in Calem yard, the area shown below in Calem Village are not required.
