G.S.R. 619(E).βIn exercise of the powers conferred on me under sub Rule (4) of Rule 163 of the
Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (Central) Rules, 2026, I, Ujjwal Tah, Chief Inspector-cum-
Facilitator of Mines, also designated as the Director General of Mines Safety, based on the recommendations of the
Committee constituted under sub-rule (4) of rule 163 of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions
(Central) Rules, 2026 hereby, specify the proforma and fee of application to be submitted by training centres
established under any law other than the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020.
Scope:
This standard specifies proforma and fee of application to be submitted by the employer in respect of
training centres established under any law other than the Occupational Safety, Health and Working
Conditions Code, 2020, as required under sub-rule (4) of rule 163 of the Occupational Safety, Health
and Working Conditions (Central) Rules, 2026 for obtaining approval to also impart vocational
training to the persons employed in mines.
Applicability: This proforma and fee shall be applicable to all training centres established under any law other than
the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020, which is having infrastructure
and facilities as specified under sub-rule (3) of rule 163 of the Occupational Safety, Health and
Working Conditions (Central) Rules, 2026, and shall also be used for imparting vocational training to
the persons employed in mines.

The amount of fee to be paid along with application for approval under Rule 163(3) of the Occupational Safety,
Health and Working Conditions (Central) Rules, 2026, shall be as specified below:
For training centre catering to up to 2000 employees in mines: Rs.5000
For training centre catering to more than 2000 and up to 4000 employees in mines: Rs.10000
For training centre catering to more than 4000 employees mines: Rs.15000
