Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on first Samadhi Divas of Sant Shiromani Digambar Jainacharya Vidyasagar Mahamuniraj) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Denomination of coin.- The coin of One Hundred Rupees denomination shall only be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government on first Samadhi Divas of Sant Shiromani Digambar Jainacharya Vidyasagar Mahamuniraj. 3. Design.- The design of the coin shall be as specified in the First Schedule annexed to these rules. 5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.- The standard weight of the coin of denomination referred in rule 2 shall be coined on first Samadhi Divas of Sant Shiromani Digambar Jainacharya Vidyasagar Mahamuniraj and the remedy allowed in making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule annexed to these rules. FIRST SCHEDULE [See Rule 4] ONE HUNDRED RUPEES OBVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “सत्यमेव जयते" inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "भारत" in Devanagari script and on the right periphery with the word "INDIA" in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol "र" and denominational value "100" in the international numerals below the Lion Capitol. REVERSE: This face of coin shall bear the image of Sant Shiromani Digambar Jainacharya Vidyasagar Mahamuniraj in the center of the coin along with the images of "KAMANDAL” (traditional water pot of India) on the left side and “PICHI” on right side. The inscription “संत शिरोमणि दिगम्बर जैनाचार्य विद्यासागर महामुनिराज” shall be written in Devnagari script and the inscription “SANT SHIROMANI DIGAMBAR JAINACHARYA VIDYASAGAR MAHAMUNIRAJ” in English shall be depicted on the upper periphery of the coin. The year "1946-2024" in international numeral shall be written below the image of Sant Shiromani Digambar Jainacharya Vidyasagar Mahamuniraj.
