The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, through Notification S.O. 6090(E) dated 24th December, 2025, announced the Central Government's decision to extend the tenure of several individuals in the Delhi Urban Art Commission. In exercise of powers conferred by Sections 4 and 5 of the Delhi Urban Art Commission Act, 1973 (1 of 1974), the tenure of Shri Ajit Pai as Chairman (Part-time) and Prof. (Dr.) Mandeep Singh, Shri Ashutosh Kumar Agarwal, Smt. Nivedita Pande, and Smt. D. Thara (who is also Additional Secretary (D) in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs) as Members (Part-time) has been extended. This extension is for a period of four months, effective from 3rd January, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The notification was issued under F.
