These rules, made under clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of the Coinage Act, 2011 (11 of 2011), establish the specifications for a One Hundred Rupees commemorative coin. The coin will be circular, 44 millimeters in diameter, with 200 serrations, and composed of 99.9% pure silver, weighing 40 Grams. The tolerance for silver content is 999 parts per 1000 or above, and the standard weight remedy allows for a range of 39.995 grams to 40.005 grams. The design, detailed in the First Schedule, features the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar, 'INDIA', Rupee symbol '₹', and '100' on the obverse, and Bharat Mata with three swayamsevaks, years '1925' and '2025', and '100 YEARS OF RASHTRIYA SWAYAMSEVAK SANGH' on the reverse. In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of the Coinage Act, 2011(11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely: - 1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the occasion of one hundred years of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Denomination of coin.- The coin of One Hundred Rupees denomination shall be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government on the occasion of one hundred years of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. 3. Design.- The design of the coin shall be as specified in the First Schedule annexed to these rules. 5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.- The standard weight of the coin of denomination referred in rule 2 to commemorate on the occasion of one hundred years of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the remedy allowed in making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule annexed to these rules. THE FIRST SCHEDULE [See rule 4] ONE HUNDRED RUPEES OBVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend "सत्यमेव जयते" inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "भारत" in Devanagari script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol "Z" and denominational value “100” in the international numerals below the Lion Capitol. REVERSE: This face of the coin shall bear the image of Bharat Mata along with three swayamsevak saluting the goddess. The year “1925” in international numerals shall be inscribed on the left side of the image and the year "2025" in international numerals shall be inscribed on the right side of the image. The inscription "राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के 100 वर्ष" shall be written in Devanagari script on the upper periphery of the coin and the inscription "100 YEARS OF RASHTRIYA SWAYAMSEVAK SANGH" shall be written in English on the lower periphery of the coin. The inscription "राष्ट्राय स्वाहा, इदं राष्ट्राय इदं न मम" shall be written in Sanskrit, in Devanagari script below the image of Bharat Mata and three swayamsevak.
