S.O. 3527(E) issued by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation on July 29, 2025, notifies, in pursuance of sub-rule (4) of Rule 10 of the Official Language (use for official purposes of the Union) Rules, 1976 (as amended - 1987), that nine specific offices have achieved the criterion of 80 percent of their staff acquiring a working knowledge of Hindi. The notified offices include eight offices of the Field Operation Division: Regional Office, Gangtok; Regional Office, Hyderabad; Sub Regional Office, Karimnagar; Sub Regional Office, Nizamabad; Regional Office, Mohali; Sub Regional Office, Bathinda; Sub Regional Office, Faridkot; and Sub Regional Office, Ludhiana. Additionally, the National Statistics Office, Enterprise Survey Division, Kolkata, is also included. This notification was issued by Puja Singh Mandol, Addl. Secy., under F. No. E-11013/6/2016-Hindi.
