The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (Works Division), through Notification S.O. 3524(E) dated 29th July, 2025, has accorded the President's sanction for the ex-post facto entrustment of additional charge of the post of Director General, Central Public Works Department (CPWD). This additional charge is given to Shri Satinder Pal Singh, who is currently the Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. This decision is made in pursuance of the ex-post facto approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, as communicated via DoP&T's communication No. 26/8/2023-EO (SM.II) dated 12th July, 2025. The entrustment is for a period of 09 months effective from 12th November, 2024, or until the post is filled on a regular basis, or until further orders, whichever event occurs earliest.
