Notification S.O. 2906(E), issued by the Ministry of Women and Child Development on 30th June, 2025, announces the change of the Society's name from 'National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development' to 'Savitribai Phule National Institute of Women and Child Development', effective from 19th June, 2025. This change was made in pursuance of Section 12 and 12A of the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, under Registration No. S/2942/1965-66/Distt. South. The Society remains located at 5, Siri Institutional Area, Hauz Khas, New Delhi-110016 and continues to function as an autonomous organisation under the aegis of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India.
